Dr. Power graduated from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in May of 2014. She completed her residency training in Emergency Medicine at McLaren Greater Lansing and Sparrow Hospital where she served as chief resident in her senior year. In addition to her duties as a Board Certified Emergency Physician, she is also an Assistant Professor at MSU CHM, and is the lead preceptor for the second year medical student rotation in Emergency Medicine at Sparrow Hospital. As the Community Assistant Dean, she oversees the third and fourth year medical students who are training on the Lansing campus. Some of her duties in this role include mentoring, teaching and career advising.

Lauren Zoumbaris is the Lansing Student Programs Administrator. Lauren coordinates and administers the academic and administrative support services for medical students assigned to the Lansing Campus of Michigan State University College of Human Medicine during their clinical years of medical school. She advises and counsels medical students with regard to curriculum, career development, residency, personal issues that may affect performance, and other areas in order to help ensure the success of the students. Lauren coordinates and oversees a variety of student activities in the community, including the scheduling of students in required and elective clerkships at numerous area facilities.

Anne Leiby-McMahon is the Lansing Community Outreach Specialist. Anne is responsible for recruitment of new faculty, retention of faculty, faculty educational development and assisting with continuing medical education (CME), and faculty appointments. Anne also instructs faculty members and residents on core teaching skills, assessment skills, strategies for integrating students into their practice and use of electronic resources.

Bryanna Powers is the Curriculum Coordinator. Bryanna is responsible for the VSLO system for visiting students working with our elective clerkship attendings, providing schedules and information, and working with the visiting students in onboarding. Bryanna also works with the hospital for COM elective clerkship scheduling and provides assistance to the Community Administrator and Assistant Dean.

Patricia Faunce is the Secretary for the MSU CHM Assistant Dean’s office, Lansing campus. The Secretary is responsible for obtaining training and access into Sparrow Hospital’s EPIC EMR, and MSU’s Centricity EMR, elective evaluations, immunization tracking, and the LCE Orientation requirements for MSU, that also include requirements of the Sparrow Health System and McLaren Greater Lansing sites.
